After 4 years at U.S.M and 4 years at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa, Dr. Peavy graduated with high honors (Magna cum Laude) in 1978. Prior to that he had met the man who changed the course of his life. "I suffered severe migraines for 5 years as a teenager after several very severe neck injuries as a child and early teen. I had given up hope and was told "You'll just have to learn to live with the pain!" Yet, I always knew something was causing those horendous headaches. I then met my wife who's Father was Dr. Jack Cleere a Chiropractor who practiced here for 34 years. My first vertebra, the atlas, was severely misaligned and locked in 9 degrees of rotation from my injuries. I began treatment and never had another migraine! It changed my life forever. I knew immediately what I wanted to do with my life which was to dedicate it to helping others live pain free active lives with Chiropractic care. I have been so blessed to study with some of the most skilled Doctors in the country, but I learned most from my late father-in-law's 34 years experience. I know I am doing what God put me here to do...I thank God, my family, and the thousands of last resort difficult so called 'hopeless' cases who have allowed us to help them regain their quality of life without drugs or surgery...a life free from the torture of chronic pain...and I owe it all to my wonderful wife and Chiropractic. I absolutely love my work and mission in life."
